i drive my truck to the store about 4 mi. it runs fine. i start it go home and has a miss next day same thing

have changed plugs plug wires distributer cap and rotor even pcv valve and it
will run fine at first and after a few miles it develps a miss

I assume you have checked for intake gasket leaks and bad vacuum hoses. so next start with fuel pressure and flow, then test for injector pressure leakage, how long does the injection system hold pressure after the engine and key is turned off. Has the engine had any work done on it?
