How much $ should I sale my 2004 Mercedes ML 350 with 158,000 miles,
and needing a new transmission?

It's worth $6K in working condition. Then minus the transmission work. MB transmissions are expensive. Get some quotes from some local transmission shops and deduct the difference. The harder part will be finding someone to buy it and repair it. Your best bet might be to get it repaired and continue to drive it for awhile, then sell.
