Why won't my car restart

Asked by Jun 06, 2017 at 04:59 PM about the 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 350 Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving my 2006 E350 Mercedes a message came up saying "STOP, Reduced braking power depress brake pedal fully." While driving back to house car engine stopped working. Have not been able to restart since. I have replaced right side caliper and brake pads. When I turn key to the right the brake message comes up along with battery light. Is there a safety feature that will stop the engine automatically? Can an OBD2 scan tool reset the messages so my car will start again? Any suggestions what else it could be?
