I have a 2003 toyota tundra with a bad vibration had balanced and alignment and rotated
I have had an alignment, tire rotation, and balanced, tires has less than 5000 miles on it still has a bad vibration from the body of the truck not in the sterring section what is wrong. did everything but sold it.
It could be a whole number of things. I recommend that you take it back to your Toyota dealer and have them look over everything to find out what is going on. Here are a just a few reasons that could be causing the vibration: Loose or broken motor mount, dry or broken CV half-shaft, loose or broken transmission mount, worn idler arm, or worn ball joints. There are others too. A truck with 5000 should not have anything worn so I am assuming something is faulty or broken.
Hi blackkeen! I think the next place I would look, believe it or not, is the axle, especially if the vibration can still be felt at very low speeds. You may need to have someone put it up on the rack, run it in gear and see what's up. Good luck.
