Traction Control System

Asked by acacia Jun 27, 2023 at 12:05 PM about the 2002 Toyota Sequoia Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had my wheel speed sensors replaced after my
traction control system was acting up. The problem
stopped for a little bit and then it came back but I
would turn my car off and reset it and it would go
away. It didn’t come back on for two weeks and now
the two traction lights came on and won’t go off no
matter what I do. I had a ton of parts replaced in my
front in and the mechanic said everything looked fine.
They reset the computer with the new wheel sensors.
My car acts completely normal while driving, but still
has the lights on.

Then something has gone bad, your tech needs to dig deeper than just looking at it. Did they use genuine Toyota replacement parts? If not that could be the whole problem.
