I have an odd problem with my 2005 Chevy Blazer.
The AC Pully isn't spinning when the AC is off, so
the drive belt is screaming as it slides around the
Pully. However, the pully spins, albeit with a little
noise, when the AC is on. So I checked the AC
compressor and AC clutch. The AC compressor
freely spins, the clutch engages and disengages
and the AC is blowing cold. Both are working
properly. So it makes me think the Pully/bearings
is bad, but this also dosen't make sence. If the
Pully spins then the AC is on, the Pully cannot be
seized....It would seem that it shouldn't spin even
when the AC clutch was engaged, I.e. it seized so
no spinning period. Any idea?
