1995 Toyota Camry LE 4cyl. No voltage at dome light. Fuse and door plungers switches are o.k.
No voltage present at dome light. Fuse is o.k. Door plunger switches are o.k. The manual
dome light switch makes no difference. What are the possibilities? Thanks!
Test the wires going into the manual switch. If you pulled the bulb and put a test light to it, you have no power at the bulb. Now test the wires going to the switch. If you have 12 volts going to the wires, you know the switch is bad.
To Reelin68: Thanks for your suggestion. I removed the dome light fixture, removed the 2-wire plug and checked for voltage; Zero volts. Wires, plug and fixture look intact. Wiring break must be elsewhere. Hard to find without a wiring diagram. I thank you. At least I know it's not in the fixture or plug. I was wrong about the door plunger switches; this Camry doesn't have them. Has sensors, I guess. I was thinking of a different car. Thanks again. --teejay363
