My 1991 Toyota Camry started making a rapid "clacking" type of sound last night on my drive home. It is definitely coming from the timing belt area, but the belt is fairly new and appears in good shape. The sound lessens when the car is in neutral, but still there in a big way. What all does my timing belt operate and do you think something inside one of those pieces is broken off and getting thrown around? Thanks for any help!

I drive a Toyota camry xle 2007. Recently i hit a side of a side walk and d tire got damaged and rim bruised. i changed the tire and noticed the car was swerving to one side so i did the alignment but the car still gradually drifts to the right while in motion. i have tried the alignment at different places but its still d same and i have now be made to understand that the alignment is fine and somthing else must be wrong maybe from the sidewalk incident. please advice what else could make the car to drift/swerve when in motion. Why does my 2001 Toyota Camry have a humming noise?, ive checked the bearings and there is no play at all with any of them. the sounds starts up around 20mph and gets louder the faster i go. My 2000 v6 toyota camry turns on but just for a second and goes off right after it goes on. Only when is hot. In the mornings generally it turns on fine for like 15 minutes. Some said to check the fuel pump, and alternator, but they are fine, i think it has to do with the plastic connectors that go in to the camshaft position sensor that are falling apart for so much heat on the sidesn and an electritian man did a new one just the ends so it would connect the sensor tightly, but is going off when the car is on after 15 minutes or so. What should i do? replace the sensor? i can´t find the original connectors 2 Answers
