My 1991 Toyota Camry started making a rapid "clacking" type of sound last night on my drive home. It is definitely coming from the timing belt area, but the belt is fairly new and appears in good shape. The sound lessens when the car is in neutral, but still there in a big way. What all does my timing belt operate and do you think something inside one of those pieces is broken off and getting thrown around? Thanks for any help!

Hello fiddle- It sounds like whoever did your timing belt may have incorrectly adjusted the timing. I advise you have that checked first. Let me know how you do. Good luck from Bovan.
