After re-connecting battery for alternator replacement, my original factory Toyota Radio no
longer will switch to the Satellite position for receiving HD radio signals. How do I re-set
the radio? my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org and my home phone 540 825
It looks like it has to be done through the XM satellite provider to get it back. Look in your owners manual Page 192. Each XM tuner is identified with a unique radio ID. You will need the radio ID when activating XM service or when reporting a problem. Call an XM’s Listener Care at (800) 852- 9696. The XM radio is solely responsible for the quality, availabil- ity and content of the satellite radio services provided. Each XM tuner is identified with a unique radio ID. You will need the radio ID when activating XM service or when reporting a problem. If you select the “CH 000” using the “TUNE” knob, the ID code of 8 alphanumeric characters appears. If you select another channel, display of the ID code is canceled. The channel (000) alternates the display between the radio ID and the specific radio ID code. If you don't have manual to read up more you can download it at the link I will put in a separate window. Have your VIN ready
No offense, I'm not going to send an email or call
Thanks, following your suggestion I was able to re-set my radio and am once again enjoying my HD Satellite radio music while driving.
Great. Thanks for letting me know, and the 'best' click I always like to know when I was helpful
