I have a 1999 toyota avalon and took it to the shop to have the gas door release replaced because it no longer worked. When it came back from the shop, the glove box release for the trunk no longer worked. Did the mechanics do something to cause this?

I have a 1999 Toyota Avalon and took it to the shop to have the gas door release replaced because it no longer worked. When it came back from the shop, the glove box release for the trunk no longer worked. Did the mechanics do something to cause this?

Take it back. They probably forgot to hook up the cable.
