i have replaced my ignition switch on a Toyota 4 runner, now it will not start. Is there a reset step that needs to be preformed and how?

Did you install the right switch? Some switches need to be adjusted.

Yes sir. Ordered from Toyota and sized next to the old one and both looks the same. It acts as it did once when we had an extra key made without the chip in it.
