Car problems

Asked by Drew_ May 16, 2018 at 10:23 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT1

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey so I had little to no gas in my 2004Grand Prix
and didn't drive it for a couple of days..  So 2 days
later when I decide to try and start it the car didn't
even make a sound..  Couldn't blow the horn,  no
dashboard icons...  I even tried to give it a jump
which didn't even work..  Assuming it has
something to do with the battery,  starter,  or the
fact it rained and it could have messed up some of
the wires in the car..  Need help with diagnosis.

Stick with the battery diagnosis. It is the likely cause if there were no other recent problems before this one. Don't know why you were not able to jump start the car. That should have worked. At this point, pull the battery and have it checked before digging in any deeper.
