Can you put the transmission out of 99 grand Prix gt into a 99 supercharged gtp if there both 3800 engines

It'll bolt up but the "innards" of the two transmissions are different. The one for the supercharged engine is more heavy duty. Be careful buying used on this. All these transmissions have problems with the shift solenoids and they all lose overdrive with torque converter lock up. Buying rebuilt or having yours repaired by a reputable transmission shop or GM dealer is really the way to go here. HTH. -Jim
