My 1998 pontiac Grand Prix won't idle

Asked by Ben586miller Jul 10, 2014 at 06:22 PM about the 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 Dr GTP Supercharged Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My pontiac Grand Prix starts but will
not idle. It will if I lightly put down the
accelerator and it revs up fine but as
soon as I take my foot off its clunks
out. It's not the fuel pump resistor as
most say I already have the kit. It's
not throwing any codes at all and it's
not the MAF sensor

With your vehicle, this condition can be caused by a number of factors. It's best to take the vehicle in to see a professional.
