04 grand am 3.4 v6
I have a 04 grand am 3.4 v6 have to start it with
ether in morning and if it sits to long couple hours
but then when it starts runs fine just need to start it
with starting flued
Need to check fuel pressure. Pressure should be with switch on 41-47 psi. If it does not achieve that on first initial 2 seconds of switch being on. Turn switch off and repeat. If reaches then. Try to start then. Also monitor gauge and see if it holds fuel pressure. If does not hold fuel pressure. Could have a leaking injector or fuel is bleeding back not tank.
I had a similar issue recently with my 03, same engine. Replaced a LOT. Ended up being a short for the AC wiring from the compressor. Only way to start was with fluid. Replaced plugs, wires, coils, fuel pump/filter, pressure regulator twice, ambient air temp sensor, thermostat, emission control vacuum harness...once I disconnected the air conditioning the problem was solved. Only took me about 2 years to figure it out since no fuses, relays, lights, or codes indicated anything.
