The a/c starts great in the morning but sometimes after driving for an hour, the blower decreases power. It still blows cool but not hard enough.

Have you tried to take it out of auto position on the controls and see if it kicks back up? It kinda sounds like a temp sensor starting to go bad, the HVAC codes will have to be accessed by someone familiar with that system. Most good shops will have that capability.
