95 Lincoln tc burning oil

I have a 95 town car with 88,000 miles. I went to do
an oil change on it and found that there was no oil.
It's not smoking

It is loosing it somewhere. Look for leaks and keep an eye on its level.

I checked and don't see any leaks. Im going to track my oil and miles. I recently switched over to semi synthetic oil. There's a ticking noise. Sounds like a lifter. I'm going to try an additive to quiet it down

Can go up to a heavier oil next oil change.
