2005 Grand Cherokee 4.7L
When cold, I can start Jeep and drive approx 4-5 minutes. Actually, driving
same route to work, stalls at same stop light everytime. Doesn't do it every
day. Cranks right up, problem gone for rest of day. Next day, may or may
not do it again. Replaced battery ( borderline low voltage one suspect) and
had throttle body cleaned. Does not throw a code on the ODB. No lights on
dash, just stalls.
Sounds like early stage crank sensor failure, my old Jeep started doing the same thing and then one day it just died going down the road and would not restart until it got cold then did make it back home, so I replaced both the crank and cam sensors as they both are known problems and never had any more problems. Mine also never gave any codes.
