MY 1990 FORD THUNDERBIRD 6 cylinder , shuts off ( only) when i put it in reverse! can you help?thank you
It is likely the transmission does it shutter at all when u get it to back up?
It is possible that when you move the selector to R that it is causing some kind of a short with the ignition switch. Open steering column and see if you have a wire worn through and shorting out.
