trans wont shift right (trans was replaced by previous owner)

wont shift easy. i have to make pressure to shift (truck is a 4x4)

Check the fluid level first and condition. Was a used transmission installed or new? Engine and transmission mounts in nice shape and not worn or broken? Did you have a mechanic look it over yet?
