I have a 1993 GMC Sierra just replaced water pump thermostat and radiator and I still have no heater inside the truck
Before I changed water pump out my heater
would work off and on then it quit
altogether so I change water pump out but
I'm still not getting any heat in my truck I
check the heater door inside the truck but
its opening and closing but it still not
getting any heat if anybody's got any
answers be really appreciated thanks in
There should be a heater control valve. Make sure it is working and not plugged up.
Where would that be I also unhooked the hoses and stuck a water hose to both of them and water came out both sides so thought I would throw that out there thanks
It may not be the heater valve then. If you have full flow then I don't know what it could be.
Have you bled the cooling system of air pockets? And how is the thermostat? Seem to be letting the engine warm up to operating temp.?
I have let the truck run for about 30 min or so and I just changed the thermostat also just confused so I thought I would ask questions and get y'all opinion thanks y'all
With the radiator cap off? for 30min. That should push through any air pockets.
