Asked by Cowboyrusseller Mar 16, 2016 at 07:38 PM about the 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Seems my battery went dead, and after charging it the left power windows
and the convertible top don't work. Any reason?

have had this happen before..once lost both sides and then just passenger side but the top would work.....if you change the battery without putting the special piece in the cig lighter it messes things up. take the negative terminal off the battery for 20-30 then hook it back up and you should hear the computer reset and it should work.
