1997 crown vic power door lock moter stops working after 6 clicks up and down then works after 30 second pause. New moter installed same effect. Normal?

Overloading the lock and unlock relays, possible short in door lock wiring causing the circuit breaker to trip, after it cools it will reset on it's own.
