I have a 2004 Chev. monte carlo ss. A small part on the top of the dipstick came loose and I tried to super glue it back but it stuck to the top of the tube the dip stick goes in. I had to chissle it out but apparently some of it fell into tube because dipstick now will only go in about 12 inches and now it is leaking oil around the oil pan. any ideas?

You can remove the oil tube, one bolt at bottom of it,take it loose and pull it up and out,run close hanger through it to remove the debree, then replace it,and get you a new oil stick.
