my cruise conrol light is staying on in my monte. The cruise control is disconnected,
now the heater/air conditioner wont come on when I turn the switch. my husband
banged the side where the blower is and it was working fine. but as soon as you turn
the car off and start it again the same problem occurs. Can you please how i can fix
this problem. It just started about 2 wks ago.

That sounds like a bad heater motor brushes, but it will be more cost effective to just replace the motor itself. As far as the cruse control light, make sure the cruse control switch is turned off. If it is then most likely there is a cross circuit in the cruse control system wiring.
