Check engine light is on and VSC is off

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check engine light is on and the VSC is off and it is
driving 40 mph. Can I continue driving to make it
home or don't try it and call a tow truck??

The VSC light gets triggered by the check engine light. Your car goes into limp mode. I would read the codes. Just search for "Troubleshooting Lexus Check engine Light guide by Youcnaic" and follow the instructions to read the codes. You can also go to Autozone or Advnace Auto parts and they may read the codes for you.

Hi,I have a 08 Lexus is250 the engine light,trac light & vsc light came on yesterday! I just had my Ecu fixed,my boyfriend unplugged the battery & hooked it back up! It went off,but today when i got in it as i was driving it came back on...
