Honda crx starting problem help!

I have just bought a 1990 crx, its
starts perfectly when its cold, but
after about 15 mins its jumps onto 3
cylinders then cuts its sels out after
that it just pops and bangs and wont
start for another couple of hours, can
someone please help its doing my
head in

go back to the person who sold it to you and ask for your money back or to fix it..sounds like they sold you a lemon

i had that problem with my car. is your temp gauge staying normal temp or is it pegging the limit? what is happening is your car is pre-detonating the gas so you need to look at your cooling system.
