Passenger door alignment

I took my 2000 ford explorer to shop yesterday to
find out about a knock. They ride with me getting in
and out of passenger  door just fine. Then put it on
lift. Today the passenger door won't open as it is to
tight against the front quarter panel. (Out of
alignment) logic tells me this happened when
lifting the truck with lift. ( the kind with lift arms on
either side vehicle) Of course the tech is saying

Have a local auto body shop inspect it. They have an eye for those things. tell you if the hinge failed or something is bent.
