I checked the fuel pressure on my pump it said it had 29 pounds. Would that mean the pump is not working

It's working but that seems a little low to me. Are you having issues? If so, replace the fuel filter. It may be dirty and restricted. What kind of vehicle are we working on? HTH. -Jim
