Chevy Caprice does not start after driving in summer (after running airconditioned on)

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have chevorlet caprice 2006 LTZ, whenever I switch off my car after running with AC on
(means heat shows 50%) does not start. It simply cranks up but does not start. If I wait for
for sometimes, everything works fine. What stops the start, is it the fuel pump? I did
computer scan but nothing detected

ok. true story. i had an old buick and it would do that. i cjanged plug heat ranges, wires, radiators, fans, flushed it...everything. it finally quit starting at all. i was stumped. i give up and spend 180 on an electronic control module. (where sparkplug wires go instead of distributor) no go. weeks and 3 shops later a mechanic figured it out. the harness for the ecm has some wires visible and some rotted insulation. heres the science. what does metal do when its heated? expands. take 50 bare wires in a bunch and heat them. short. insulated the wires, problem solved. hope it helps...

Thanks for advice, I will do same and if it's successful, will share the results. I am living in Middleast and weather is real hot sometimes cross 50 degree in summer.
