Cant get past steering column to remove switch

drop the steering column down after removing the trim panel under the column and the nuts holding the column up.

try getting a repair manual to do the job right . brake light switch should be up on the brake pedal arm. I never had to remove or loosen a sterring column to change a brake light switch. just sayin.
