What could cause high beam lights not to work & air conditioner to work intermittently?

turned high beam headlights & had no lights went back to low beam & had lights. Also air conditioner has just quit twicw with no warning stay off for a while then come back on

Check the main power distribution box for a main fuse blown for your high beams, if the fuse is blown check headlight wiring for a short in the high beam circuit, if fuse is good then check for voltage at the headlight connector high beam wire, if battery voltage is present then make sure headlight grounds are clean and tight then check for open circuit in the headlight bulb on the high side. Sounds like the A/C system needs a service, could just be low on 134 or a cycling switch going bad.
