My 2001 chevy venture leakes out fluid and then Shut off completely. It will not crank over no lights, horn nothing.
I was told it could be the thermostat, Or I Needed to replace the hose.
What fluid are you leaking? Coolant? If it shuts down, has this happened many times before? Coolant might have sprayed onto your ignition components in the engine bay. I'd replace whatever is leaking and possibly do some diagnostic work as to why. Is an old hose that cracked, a stuck thermostat, a crack in radiator, leaky/bad water pump? etc.
I figured it was something of the sort, and yes this is the first time.
