Heater works but defrost isn’t working, hardly any air from defroster any ideas?

1984 Coup DeVille heater will run you out of car but defroster only clears a pin
size area of windshield, any ideas?

Sounds like a malfunctioning actuator within the air tubes that is causing your problem.
