Looking for VW 1974 Radio

Hi :)
I live in Australia and I am looking for an old style radio to fit a 1974 Beetle. I have heard that you have to be careful about the type because apparently just because a radio fits doesn't mean it's electrically compatible, and also to be cautious about the radio tuning since it changes from country to country. Would anyone happen to know where I would be able to purchase one that would be compatible in Australia?

Hi, Check out Aussieveedubbers.com . It is an awesome online community of people who will help you out with detailed questions like that. There is also a swap and trade section, where you could put up an ad for the bit you need. Chances are, someone would have one and be willing to sell it.
