72 Beetle electric issue

I'm rebuild a beetle that day for about 10 years. It now "runs and stops". Now
my right turn signal flashes with both tail lights and both front turn signals.
I've cleaned all grounds and replaced turn signal, headlight and flasher
switches. No change except headlight don't come on now. Any simple fix?

If you are doing a complete restoration maybe it is time for a new wiring harness.
