Steering

Asked by Mar 07, 2016 at 10:52 AM about the 2001 Volkswagen Golf

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has power steering, after a minor
accident my power steering has gone very
hard and heavy. How would I know if it's to
do with my power steering or if it's my
wishbone?

Get the car up on a lift and have your mechanic look it over. Might have damage to the pump, the rack itself or a suspension component.
