High beams do not work!!!

Asked by Aug 28, 2010 at 12:03 AM about the 1989 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a 1989 base model Thunderbird but the high beams don't work.  The flash to pass works so I know the lights are good, along with the daytime running lights are running ( although sometimes dime).  Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

replace the signal switch ,the bright, dim is in it.

Hello Papa, I checked for power going and coming out of the signal switch and my test light shows that I have power at the switch. I'm leaning toward the hi-lo relay, do you think this might be where my problem may be or could it be in my day time running light module? Thanks for your input, Brian
