I've changed the coil, fuel filter, fuel pump, voltage regulator, battery, alternator, and still having this no start problem with my 1978 Thunderbird. What could be the issue?

I think its the carburator because its smoking wen I try to star it.
what made you change those things? no spark? inspect cap and rotor, if charred replace.
Distributor? How old are the plug wires? Have you checked the spark plugs? The thing could be fouling so bad that it just pours out black smoke and won't run

It is a small amount of white smoke coming from the carb. Cud it be the sending unit?
