on my 1990 ford thunderbird my ignition coil has no spark what would be the cause
Did you check all the grounds? To the coil, battery and body.
you sure that would cause no spark in the ignition coil, it happened all of a sudden it was working that same day, when i got out of work i didnt start.
i meant it stop working all of a sudden
So you stated the ignition coil is good in your original question? Did you check it out like this? http://autorepair.about.com/od/troubleshooting/ss/coil-test-ohm.htm Then when you install it onto the car it doesn't work?
It could also be a faulty TFI module.
yes it is we even checked the harness and it is getting power
where do i find the TFI module on my car and whats its purpose
we've tested the module and it tested good
You might be sure your point gap is correct. It is possible if they are touching or pitted you would not see a spark.
