is it dangerous getting hit from behind on a 1985 chevy blazer s-10

I just bought a 1985 chevy blazer s-10 and noticed where the gas tank is.I want to know is it a high fire risk if i get hit in the rear end. Thank you Jack

In general it's not safe to get from behind in any car. Nothing good can come of it. I did a little research to see if there were reports of gas tank problems or collision problems and found nothing out of the ordinary.
