windshield wipers

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

wipers wont turn off. even when it says off
they still continue to go. I have no idea what
to do. any suggestions on what could be
wrong and how to fix it.!! thank you in
advance!

Had the same problem on my Cadillac, the parts code show the same system for a Bonnieville, mine turned out to be the wiper switch itself, I had to replace the wiper motor earlier in the month due to a plastic gear failure in the wiper motor transmission, so I knew it wasn't that.
