Buy one on ebay and it could cost less than 150 to do it yourself

You should have it welded in properly so there are no leaks to trip an engine light

Thanks to both of you! I am a 46 year old, single soccer mom -car repair def not my forte, but I like the idea of buying one on ebay. Is there a reliable alternative to "shops"? I used to have a guy who would come to my house and do repairs for 20% of the cost of shops, but I don't live there anymore. Is there a network of independent repair guys? Thanks again.
