I have a 2004 Pontiac Grandam and it won't start when it freezes outside until the temperature reaches about 43 degrees. I saw the solution of putting a heater inside but where should I focus the heat.

Do you mean a block heater? Those are used for sub zero temps. You have something else going on. At 43 degrees you should have an issue. Check the battery terminals for corrosion and scan for trouble codes.
