I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT with the Ram Air. Why won't it shift
out of first gear? it goes in reverse  and drive but stays in first

I have a 2003 Pontiac grand am. Has been running great. But I went out to crank up. And it will turn over but wont catch. Changed fuel filter. Checked fuses. Still same thing will turn over but won't catch Fuel pump engages. Ima stuck please help.
