Caballero, we get questions like yours all the time. No, a Honda engine will not just fit into a Mazda. The engine mounting system is different, the transmission, wiring harness, and computer are all different and have to work with all the engine sensors. a totally different engine will not communicate with the current vehicle. So you would try to spend thousands getting a none Mazda engine installed into a car worth less than a $1000 and it still might not run. Not a smart move. Find a used 2.0L Mazda engine for your era vehicle to install with minimal issues and cost if you want to keep it on the road.
