I found the keyless entry code for my 2002 lincoln continental but it's not working ?

Maybe someone used a personal code? To reset it to the master code, type the master code on the keypad. Within five seconds of entering the code, press the "1/2" button. then press the "7/8" and "9/0" simultaneously, within five seconds of pressing the "1/2." This erases the custom code.
