Maybe your driving conditions trigger the oil change alert. There is a computer program that factors in various things and calculates when you need to change the oil.

2012 Chrysler 200 having the same problem. Firestone changed oil, sticker says next change due in about 2500 more miles. Oil changed 12/14/19, change oil came on 01/29/20?
Change oil message came on. changed oil and filter. reset. everything fine until four weeks later (2000 km) change oil message is back?
