Passenger seat air-bag sensor fault
local repair shop diagnostic program indicated code 93C3 -seat occupancy detector but provided no explanation for the malfunction. Regional Mini dealer service did not provide code but did state that the sensor malfunction was due to the seat having gotten wet. The car was bought in May and driven for 3 months prior to there being a problem; seats were never wet! Issue is that the expensive repair should be under the warranty with less than 23,800 miles. 2014 Cooper S Roadster. Diagnostic tools are subject to errors so are there other examples of errors in Dealer equipment?
