what is the plus and minus sign button on the left side of the gearshift for?

I have looked in my book and can't find anything about this.

Probably similar to paddle shifters, minus will downshift to lower gear and plus is up shift to higher gear.

It is for shifting up and down manually.

Yes Bob, isn't that what I said above, to downshift or upshift?


No Mark, you said probably and a button is not similar to a paddle shifter system.

What's is the minus and positive button on the steering wheel of Ford Edge 2017


Elizabeth - probably the cruise control. + for faster, 1mph for each push and - for slower. But read your owners manual.
